LEPRA is a UK registered international charity focusing on people who find themselves trapped by disease, poverty and prejudice and we help them to improve their health, lives and livelihoods. They work with individuals and communities affected by some of the world’s oldest and most neglected diseases. Working on the frontline in India and Bangladesh they treat, educate and rehabilitate, and through this give a voice to people living on the margins of society.
We are doing a Sponsored Fun Work Out to raise money for this charity. How the money will help:
- £4.50 buys a pair of shoes so someone can walk again
- £25 can give health education to a school of up to 100 children
- £75 can pay for a Paramedic for a month
