Last Monday we had a great turnout to our Year 6 Open Evening, we had nearly 1000 visitors and lots of really positive comments, as usual, about our polite and charming students. Thanks to all those who helped at the evening, pupils, staff and the PTFA.
There are a lot of events happening this week, we have Mandarin lessons after school on Monday (See Mrs Lynch-Kelly for more details) and private supervised study as usual in the library until 5pm.
On Tuesday our Head Girl & Head Boy, along with Mrs Thompson and Mrs Dednum, will be attending the new Bishop’s thanks giving Mass at St Barnabus Cathedral in Nottingham.
On Wednesday and Thursday there are Y11 GCSE Food technology sessions led by Mrs Greenhalgh, from 3.35 to 4.15 and Y11 GCSE Art sessions on Thursday from 3.35 to 5pm.
On Tuesday there are several netball and football matches against Hinckley Academy at home. Finally, on Friday we are having our Macmillan Coffee morning, see Ms Lester for more information.
Monday September 21st will be our Prospective Parent’s Open Evening.

Alongside this high quality academic curriculum, we place great emphasis on the Arts and sport: Music, drama, dance, design, art as well as a host of sports.
The school will open its doors at 6.30 until 8.30.
Talks from the Principal will be given at 7pm and 8pm.
