Our 2015 Career's Fair is on Monday, 2nd November 2015 from 6.00–8.00pm. Obviously, this is a crucial time for our Year 11s but we would like our Year 9s and Year 10s to attend as well. It is never too early to start to consider future pathways. We will be having 70 professionals available for students and parents/carers to talk to (including Muzzy Izzet). There will be 1/2 hour presentations at 6.30 and 7.15pm from Prospects regarding apprenticeships. Four Universities plus a Third Year medical student, four Colleges, four Apprenticeship providers, six Sixth Form providers, plus delegates from a number of sectors including Barclays, Civil Engineering company, HMRC and more! All under the one roof and seen in one visit. This event is being organised to assist our students with their choices and provide an opportunity for them to meet professionals. There will be a range of providers available to discuss Post 16 options (e.g. Sixth Form providers, variety of people from the world of work, Armed Forces, Colleges and four Universities this year). We are grateful to the providers for their time and support. New this year: Prospects will be providing sessions regarding apprenticeship schemes which will include information about requirements, application and the complete process. This will be held in the studio and at 6.30pm and 7.15pm. Good information is key to making informed decisions so that your child can begin to research careers ideas, options choices and possible progression routes. This event will begin to ‘sow the seeds’ for you, as a family. Well done to our year 7 Football team who won their first trophy of the season, beating Redmore 3-0, Market Bosworth 2-0 and Hinckley Academy 2-1. An excellent start to the season!
