Saint Martin's situated in the historic and beautiful Leicestershire village of Stoke Golding. We were founded by the Dominican’s over sixty years ago and we continue our commitment to providing an outstanding education founded upon a strong Christian ethos and a traditional Liberal Arts Education for all pupils.
Saint Martin's has a long tradition of providing the local community of Stoke Golding, Hinckley, Earl Shilton and beyond.
Our mission is for pupils to learn about 'the best that has been thought and said' and to know that they are loved.
Our aim is to provide children, from all abilities and backgrounds, with an ambitiously academic curriculum where all succeed through excellent teaching, uncompromising standards of behaviour and relentless care.
Week beginning December 5th 2016
Our choir joined with St Peter's in Hinckley and St Peter's in Earl Shilton to perform in the Menphys Charity Carol Concert at De Montfort Hall in Leicester. Catholic school from across Leicestershire performed to raise money for this excellent cause. Well done to those who participated.
Following on the Christmas theme, this Friday is our annual Christmas Fayre. All are welcome and every penny raised goes to supporting pupils in our school. Door open at 7pm.....

Zimbabwe Connecting Classrooms Partnership
We have been awarded a grant by the British Council to develop a link with a school overseas. We have partnered up with a sister Dominican School, Saint Dominic’s just outside Harare, Zimbabwe. The school was founded by the same South African Kings William Town Dominican Sisters who founded Saint Martin’s in the 1940s. Mrs Lynch-Kelly and Mr Noon visited Zimbabwe at the beginning of the summer holidays. They linked up with an orphanage that we hope to support as a school community: the Mother of Peace Orphanage was set up in 1994 to help orphans living with or affected AIDS/HIV.
