Our school is served by two Lay Chaplains who lead and co-ordinate aspects of the schools Catholic Life.
Christian Fitzgerald
Chris is one of our Hub Chaplains and serves us and some of the Primary schools in our trust. It is his role with Lucy to support and guide our young people and to help answer the big questions, but he is also on hand for any conversation. He is in school on Wednesdays and Thursdays and always welcomes visitors to the chaplaincy office for a chat
Lucy Chapman
Lucy is one of our chaplains and also serves one of our feeder primaries in Earl Shilton.
She is in school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and always welcomes visitors to the chaplaincy office for a chat. Lucy helps to develop the Catholic life of the schools, through drama, music, prayer and discussion.

At St Martins, we believe in allowing our students to become leaders and take ownership of the most important parts of school life. None are more essential to the heart of our school as the Chaplaincy Team which is split into 3 groups that use their skills & talents to help all our students encounter God and faith.
TOURS
The LEADERSHIP team
This team takes a lead in the planning and organisation of Chaplaincy events and activities throughout the year.
They work with the other teams and to create moments in school where students can encounter faith & fun. They are named after St Martin of Tours, the patron saint of Chaplaincy.

ACUTIS
The TECH & MEDIA team.
This team takes a lead in all things Technology. From coordinating Worship Wednesdays to creating prayer powerpoints, photography and content creation for our School website and social media accounts.
They are named after Bl. Carlo Acutis, a teenager who used websites creation and computer programming to share his faith.

The ART & DESIGN team.
This team’s job is to make chaplaincy look good! bringing their artistic skills to displays boards, prayer displays and the upkeep of the chapel
