SVP in Action this Advent – On Wednesday 17th December, our SVP team took a trip to Aldi to purchase food for our Advent Food Bank Appeal, using funds generously donated through our school’s Christmas fundraising. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to put compassion into action, giving back to the community and making a real difference to those in need.
Today, our SVP team proudly delivered all the food collected to @hinckley_foodbank. Students were involved every step of the way — packing the crates, transporting them, and seeing the final collection weighed — a powerful, hands-on experience of service in action that truly captured the spirit of Advent.
Together, we donated an incredible £1,457.57, providing approximately 1,222 meals for individuals and families in need. We are incredibly proud of our students and everyone who contributed; moments like this remind us how powerful kindness, generosity, teamwork and shared purpose can be.
