Some of our SVP team today, visited the food bank in Hinckley and donated the food collected during Advent. While there, they helped sort the items and took the time to check the dates on tinned food to ensure everything was still in date. They also listened attentively to how the food bank operates and asked thoughtful, relevant questions to better understand the process. Their efforts made it easier for the food bank to distribute the donations to those in need. The SVP team’s efforts to support those in need demonstrate their commitment to making a positive impact in our society.

We collected 419.9kg of food and toiletries which would have had a cash value of £1,163.12 and provided 830 meals.
