We have had a lovely morning full of excitement and celebrations with so many pupils performing above expectations.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils who have, like all pupils, had a hugely disrupted education but never-the-less, have overcome these challenges and performed exceptionally well. Over 88% of pupils achieved a grade 4 or above in English and over 89% in maths; over 75% of pupils achieved a grade 5 or above in English and over 62% of pupils achieved a grade 5 or above in maths. A third of the grades were Grade 7 (The old A grade) and above.
Many of our students have had really impressive outcomes, for example, Anna Gould was our top-performing student, she achieved 10 Grade 9s and a Grade 8. Clive Wright, Headteacher said “This is one of my favourite days of the year, seeing all the hard work from pupils and teachers coming to fruition, with the vast majority of pupils surprised at how well they’ve done. I would like to thank all my staff for the immense work they put in to enable our pupils to be so successful”.
