Saint Martin’s Catholic Academy is celebrating another year of excellent GCSE results, maintaining its reputation as one of the top-performing schools in Leicestershire and within the Catholic Diocese of Nottingham.
This year’s cohort has achieved remarkable academic success, with a number of students achieving top grades across a range of subjects, Jack Mann achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, Max Clarke: achieved 8 grade 9s and 2 grade 8s, Ava Hayden received 7 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s, and a grade 7, Imogen Ritchie achieved 7 grade 9s, plus a grade 8 and 7. There were many more outstanding achievements, both from high flying academic pupils through to students who achieved way above their predicted grades. Well done to all.
Headteacher Clive Wright said:
“This is one of my favourite days of the year when our pupils, who we’ve taught and got to know and care for over the last five years, see the culmination of their and their teachers’ hard work. We had a lovely morning seeing the happiness on pupils’ faces, their joy and excitement. We wish them every blessing for the next stages of their life.”
