We are celebrating another excellent set of GCSE results. This year’s results reflect the hard work, determination and ambition of our pupils, supported throughout by their teachers and families. An impressive 86% of pupils achieved grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics, with 67% achieving the stronger grade 5+ benchmark. Results in the core subjects were particularly strong, with 90.7% achieving grade 4+ in English and 91.3% in Mathematics, while 78% achieved grade 5+ in English and 72.7% in Mathematics.
There were also some exceptional individual performances. Samantha Stephen achieved an extraordinary nine grade 9s and two grade 8s, while Olo Gawryluk secured eight grade 9s and three grade 8s. George Whitelocks achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s and three grade 7s, and Alfie Wassell gained five grade 9s and six grade 8s. We are immensely proud not only of these outstanding achievements, but of every pupil who has worked hard and made progress during their time at Saint Martin’s. We wish all our Year 11 pupils every success as they move on to the next exciting stage of their education.
